Limited edition linocut, edition of 16 numbered prints
Hookland otters are thought to enjoy the psychotropic properties of white waterlilies; if you know where to look you may be lucky and spot an otter in the waterlily fields of the Restal Wastes, the fields of prophecy, chewing on waterlilies and chilling out.
This image shows a Hookland otter (Lutra Lutra Hooklandi) communing with the wisdom of the waterlilies and the waters of the Restal Wastes. The linocut was inspired by reading ‘Wyrd Wanderings 2’ - Tattoo Labyrinth Dave in conversation with Matt Adams; reprinted in Rituals and Declarations (Volume 2, Issue 2), with permission of David Southwell of the Hookland Folklore Society.
Printed in Prussian Blue water-based ink on 190gs acid-free cartridge paper. Please note that the colour of the print you receive might look different from the way it appears on your monitor. Your print may vary slightly from the image above; each linocut is printed by hand and is unique.
